Stellar Scope ("the Service") is a prototype portfolio-tracking interface for the Stellar network, built as a hackathon project. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service is a demonstration prototype and is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a production product and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
The Service queries publicly available on-chain data from the Stellar network and related public APIs. It is read-only: it does not initiate, sign, custody, or broadcast transactions on your behalf, and it does not hold, transfer, or have access to your funds at any time.
Information displayed by the Service — including balances, prices, position valuations, and portfolio analytics — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for your own decisions regarding digital assets.
The Service does not require, store, or transmit private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords. You should never share these credentials with the Service or any party claiming to represent it. Optional wallet connections (e.g., via Freighter) occur entirely within the third-party wallet extension; the Service never receives signing material.
The Service relies on third-party data sources, including the Stellar Horizon API and other public endpoints. Data accuracy, completeness, and availability depend on those sources and are not guaranteed.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators and contributors of the Service are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any loss of digital assets resulting from your own actions, third-party services, or network conditions.
You agree not to use the Service in any manner that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of others, or attempts to disrupt or interfere with the Service or the underlying Stellar network.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
